H.E. Mr. Al-Otaibi, Ambassador of Kuwait to Japan interviewed by “Ambassadeur Magazine” on the Disaster Aid

“Ambassadeur Magazine” is a prestigious foreign affairs and diplomacy magazine issued bimonthly in Tokyo in English. As the magazine prepares for a renewal issue after the Great East Japan Earthquake in March 2011, it will focus on the development of bilateral relations between Japan and the countries extended official aid to the disaster-struck areas. As one of the major donator, the magazine picked up Kuwait and Mr. Niclas Ericsson, Editor-in-Chief conducted a special interview to H.E. Mr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Otaibi, the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Japan. The questions extended from the historical relationship between Kuwait and Japan to the changes after the Great Earthquake in 2011. H.E. Mr. Al-Otaibi explained the facts of donations from Kuwait since the disaster, and disclosed his feelings when he visited Kesennuma, Miyagi in April 2011, soon after the disaster. H.E. Mr. Al-Otaibi reiterated appreciation to the patience and disciplines of the disaster-struck people in the region, and renewed his willingness to the continuous support to the people and hoped for the further deepening ties between Japan and Kuwait.
