Kuwait takes part in the Arab Charity Bazar
The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Tokyo, participated in the Arab Charity Bazaar organized by the Society of the Wives of the Arab Ambassadors in Japan (SWAAJ) on Sunday April 8, 2012. Her Imperial Highness Princess Tsuguko of Takamadonomya visited the bazaar and Mrs Jamilah AL-OTAIBI, spouse of H.E. Ambassador Abdul-Rahman Humood AL-OTAIBI Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Japan, welcomed H.I.H and comprehensively presented her the Kuwaiti products that were on display such as traditional Kuwaiti clothing, handicrafts and food products and which were favored by H.I.H as well by the visitors. Mrs AL-OTAIBI pointed out that the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Tokyo is always keen on taking part in this kind of events whether individually or through the activities of SWAAJ in order to convey a message of friendship to the friendly people of Japan and offer them an opportunity to grasp an image of our country’s culture and traditions. As a commemoration of the strong Japan-Arab relations, the proceeds of the bazaar will be entirely donated to the children of Fukushima prefecture via charity organizations. Mrs AL-OTAIBI also expressed her appreciation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait for its constant cooperation to the Embassy and its support for these events. This cooperation confirms the will of the Ministry’s officials to assist Kuwait’s diplomatic missions in carrying out their functions.
